LILA’s Pre-Oscar Night Predictions!

It’s snowy as heck today (thanks, but no thanks Philly!) and we’re holed up indoors… SO, we thought we’d settle in for a little pre-Oscar prep time with a quick glance at some of these year’s most fashionable female nominees! We’re taking a look at what these starlets donned at the Golden Globes this past month … and making our best guess for what they’ll be sashaying down the red carpet in tomorrow night!

Predictions: Tom Ford. She knows what looks good on her!

Marion Cotillard, “Two Days, One Night”

Golden Globes 2015: French vixen Marion turned heads in Dior couture.

Has Styled: Jean Paul Gaultier to pick up her 2008 Oscar for “La Vie en Rose”; mainly Dior since she became one of its ambassadors.

Predictions: Dior for this Parisian belle… obvi!

Reese Witherspoon, “Wild”

Golden Globes 2015: This starlet stepped out in a strapless and gleaming Calvin Klein dress.

Has Styled: Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Saint Laurent, and Calvin Klein Collection this season.

Predictions: All-American style for the girl next door – Oscar de la Renta, perhaps?


Rosamund Pike, “Gone Girl”

Golden Globes 2015: Ms. Pike turned heads in an ivory silk tulle Vera Wang gown.

Has Styled: Alexander McQueen, Thakoon, Edun and Vera Wang so far this year.

Predictions: Sultry Alexander McQueen.


Felicity Jones, “The Theory of Everything”

Golden Globes 2015: The British actress donned a demurely pleated teal Christian Dior couture gown.

Has Styled: Erdem, Alexander McQueen, Monique Lhuillier and Dior this awards season.

Predictions: No brainer… Dior.



Emma Stone “Birdman”

Golden Globes 2015: This Hollywood starlet styled a show-stopping glittery, strapless top and trouser combo by Lanvin.

Has Styled:  Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Thakoon, Giambattista Valli, Versace, Elie Saab, Valentino, and Calvin Klein Collection.

Predictions: Valli, Versace, Valentino… anything is game.


Patricia Arquette, “Boyhood”

Golden Globes 2015: This seasoned award winner suited up in a traditional, one-shouldered Escada gown.

Has Styled: Escada this year; Rosetta Getty and Badgley Mischka historically.

Likely to wear: Escada. And don’t forget… we called it first!


Laura Dern, “Wild”

Golden Globes 2015:  The actress styled a sparkling emerald Andrew Gn gown.

Has Styled: Alberta Ferretti to 2014 Oscars; Calvin Klein Collection, Gucci, Matthew Williamson this past season

Predictions: She usually favors warm colors, but with an Oscar nod, we’re betting something sleek…. and couture-worthy!


Keira Knightly, “The Imitation Game”

Golden Globes 2015: The mama-to-be styled a stunning Chanel dress.

Has Styled: Vera Wang at 2006 Oscars; Chanel haute couture, Erdem and Mary Katrantzou this past season.

Predictions: Chanel, s’il vous plait!

Golden Globes 2015: The Silver Screen veteran styled a chic black & white gown by Paule Ka.

Has Styled: Prada, Alberta Ferretti, and Calvin Klein Collection.

Predictions: Something sophisticated that’s nomination-worthy.
